Glass insulator? Help needed

My son found this on the river today. I thought it was possibly a glass insulator but couldn't find anything online that it resembled. Does anyone know what it could be?

I love to walk the old tracks and find the old insulators and signs can make some neat decorations but I have never seen one like this before!! Really nice find buddy congrats
