My wife loves collecting old mason jars and turn of the century glass. I have always said I would find her a nice glass piece and I finally found one but I have no clue what it was used for.

The other copper barrel beer tap looking thing, I'm stumped :) help me fellow hunters ! Haha thanks and HH

The glass might have been used for storing, perhaps seed or fruit. You already no about the barrel tap, which dates 18th-19th C

The bronze barrel bung is a fairly common piece, but getting harder to find than they used to. I've seen that bottle design before, but never with a label or contents. My guess is that because of it's fancy design it might have been used for ladies bath salts or fancy preserves.

I think ABruce has you on the right track I would also say antique dressing table/vanity jar.

Haha bronze bung not copper eh? That would make more sense if they had to hammer it into the bung hole (No pun intended). Copper would bend way to easily?
