I am really getting excited about this quest I'm on. Briefly; I could be on the trail of a lost spanish mine. The clues are starting to become clearer and I now can see the direction that I need to take. Sorry about that. I got a little ahead of myself. My name is Alb. I am from Globe Az . I love hunting for lost treasure right in my backyard (almost). I have posted a new thread on the lost legends forum that I would like you readers to check out. The title is "Another piece to the puzzle? Never before seen Peralta Stone." I could use some more comments and/or suggestions from you. Thanks and I seriously appreciate any feed back, positive or negative.

Welcome Aboard, Alb
I've got ties in Globe, AZ. Great Grandpa was a judge there, many many moons ago. Yup, lots of history there, around those Superstitions. Awesome as they are. I still have a lot of copper and Sleeping Beauty turquoise from there. Good luck to you. You're in a fantastic place for treasure. - JSpinner

Welcome from a fellow newbie - from the valley. I would like to get up that way to hunt in the near future. Today I went towards Gila Bend to hit a couple of ghost towns and they were trash holes and Private Property. So I came back home and played in the local park and found my first 3 coins... Too bad the oldest was a 1968 penny.

Spanish mines? ..... he he. I look forward to your post.

Casca, Spanish mines? It certainly seems so. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I probably wouldn't believe it. When I think about how long ago those people made those marks on that rock, it boggles the mind. Could we actually be on the trail of a lost mine? Yes, there is the possibility that this mine was hidden so well that it has never been found. If we can decipher the true meaning of those symbols on that rock, follow the directions to the mine, and reopen it, what we will have done is beat enormous odds. I hope to hear from you again and thanks for your interest. Alb
