Had a fun time along with two buddies at a permission yard yesterday. The house was built in 1917, and sits on a 1/4 acre corner lot in the older part of a nearby city. We were hopeful! I found all kinds of goodies. No precious metals today for me, but my friends each found a piece of silver. Thanks for peeking and Happy Hunting to all of my TNet friends. Sub
One 1935 buffalo nickle and nine wheaties ranging in dates from 1919-1957.
A 1957 coin from Spain, a mid-1700's Chinese cash coin, and four Missouri tax tokens.
Funny little widgets that may be headlamps for a toy tin litho truck or car (?)
CW (?) General Service button with wire attached and a musket ball. One of my friends found the twin to this button 10' away from where I dug mine.
Barclay mid-1930's futuristic slush mold race car, with red paint and two of the original white rubber wheels intact. No damage to the body!
1957 Nichols Colt Special cap gun and remnants of another cap gun of the same vintage.
Pretty big, ornate brass locking mechanism off of a trunk or old refrigerator (?)
Vintage International Harvester pocket watch fob.
1940 Captain Midnight club medal/pendant.
Vintage St. Louis & San Francisco Railway luggage tag.
Cheers!
