I have one like it. It is an agricultural tool. Yours is flaked, where mine is a harder stone. Yours is nicer. Can you see the similarities? I do!

I know my angels weren't good. However, you really need to look again, and remember not all artifacts are flaked!! They even have the same curvature in the bit for goodness sake!

that first piece is interesting
my thoughts are that it may be an unfinished piece or preform

i see no resemblance to the second piece posted which looks like another plain rock to me

Ok Larson, I'm going to give it one more shot, then we peacefully walk with our opinions. Don't be mad, or talk trash , I'm just wanting to learn. The adze was wrapped so I have read as so

With curvature in the bit, which separates them from celts. Tell me if I'm wrong. Also I know it wasn't hand held. Pretend my hand is the wrap. The bit on the "rock" that I have is probably worn or busted.

But really, you think it is nothing? I'm not trying to be funny either. I want to know. Also, tell me why it is only a rock. What is absent that needs to be there in order to call it an adze ? I have told you more than once, I respect your knowledge , and debate is part of this hobby! Agree?

NC FH My brother ( computer illiterate ) is here and says it is an Indian sex rock... He could be wrong though...

Yes. Now, to get a camera to show it is a challenge. It is weathered, yes, quite bad. However, I can see human work shine through. It is far from a center piece for sure. I personally think these worn out weathered pieces still need to be respected as artifacts. Maybe not brought inside, but put around a flower bed or something. I also think one needs to recognize them for their own advancement in this great hobby . Enough time spent on this one fellas! Shake hands, make up and good luck hunting to all of us. Agree?

Some artifacts were ground and then polished. Some were polished by using them for yrs by their owners. Passed down from family members as gifts I would guess. Weather does not do them justice IMO especially if there was no flaking on them. These type of Artifacts show better in hand than on a comp screen. So in that thinking it is very hard for someone like myself and others to actually see it. Thanks for the show of it.
