38E19F09-F7BE-48AC-A9EA-09E1599DF2F0.jpegI found this huge mangled iron thing. Same spot I have found weird metal bits in. It appears to have a large handle, with mineralization. It might have a copper shaft in the middle with the handle coming from it. I found it in a gravel bar.82B5C459-791F-4F23-A04F-C72C4DDF7B86.jpeg94D167BF-678B-4C5F-B51D-97C4B9B52183.jpeg742C69D6-8E37-4423-936D-F70413DEF18C.jpegA71E2D54-65DA-4D76-BFD8-402FEA209968.jpegF5C3CDB2-B767-4F73-A472-0596C07A298D.jpeg

Could it be the bottom flange from an old pitcher pump? Just a wag.

Thanks for the responses. I guess in hindsight identification might be hard due to the corroded nature of it. I can probably salvage the copper, but the iron is hopeless. I am not deterred, I will still continue to search. It could very well be a pump, but I just can't tell. Thanks again!

I wish I could detect in flip-flops... I would, but mud in the farm fields gets stuck between my toes. :laughing7:
