Hey guys: My friend took this pic at a old prep school for girls 1909-1977, before that it was a grand hotel. Now its about to fall down. The reason for the blur is because his style is to shoot his SLR camera at burst speed (6 frame per second) and gets good results. He will go into places and just shoots in this mode and he fills a 8 g card and takes about a week look at all of this. Now I'm not going to tell you what we see, but do keep in mind that this was a prep school and think period clothing.
If you like this I have more here on the same day at this school.
Enjoy Earthworks...

Is it a bald man?

The image is interesting but the clothing style doesn't fit into even the 1800's style.
Looks earlier , maybe 1700's. ? ? Good picture.

I'm with you....clothing looks more colonial era than 1800's, but I definitely see something there.

This is what I see.....NICE PHOTO... would love to see more! I love a good haunting!

It's Lamar. We have succeeded in making him pull out his hair. But we didn't mean to make him commit suicide...honest. :laughing7:

An interesting picture, but I have no clue what you really have there. It appears almost to be some sort of clergy from the 1800's, I think they wore something that was similar to it looking like a bib. The only problem is that it also seems to be a freak picture with light and shadow that can appear to be something it isn't. Like seeing objects in cloulds.

Like maybe a priest? ::)

i see a bald nune with the outfit and looks like its a crabby old woman aswell but if i didnt have any hair and was cuaght using the bathroom i might be crabby aswell so she excused") :tongue3:

I see a schoolmaster in a square necked robe. at first I saw the darker side on the left as just a silhouette as if in motion. I left the image and scrolled down some and when I came back - the face of the schoolmaster made me gasp!

Nobody notice the lady on the right side of the picture? It seems pretty obvious to me....3/4 of her face...

One possibility to bear in mind is what's called "matrixing", among other other things. The human mind does not like receiving nonsensical images and tries to make sense of them even when all you're looking at is really a blur. The mind tries to convert it to a recognizable image. It's a lot like looking at clouds and seeing elephants, locomotives, etc.

I'm not saying that's what's happening here, but it is one possibility to consider.

Cool picture. :icon_thumleft:

I hope you don't mind, I did some messing around with the photo. The image does stay prominent no matter what I did to it.

hhhhmmm?

I lean towards fake, but I do not think it is a trick of light and shadow.in other words if it is fake it is
good work.

my 2 cents.
