Ghost image, part of a locket maybe.

This is more non dug old family stuff. This has a smooth back so I'm thinking locket part. Not sure if the image has faded over time or it was made to only appear at certain angles. Now it's hard to see at all but the flash from the camera really lights it up... Spooky cool.

hmm...interesting dont really believe in ghost though, still a nice find.

I can't help but notice that this portrait looks strikingly like a U.S. President or some sort of Govt official. Maybe a candidate for presidency? It could be a campaign button of sorts. Very interesting.

I know this post was awhile ago but sometimes they used these
to mark graves. Family members would put these on the headstones to
remember them when they'd come to visit.

Just a thought.
