GETTYSBURG, Pa. (AP) - Interior Secretary Ken Salazar is announcing the acquisition of a 95-acre parcel at Gettysburg National Military Park.

Salazar said Friday the former golf course will henceforth be known by its historic name - the Emanuel Harman Farm. He said major fighting occurred there on July 1, 1863, the first day of the Battle of Gettysburg, the bloodiest battle of the Civil War.

Salazar, who planned to hold a news conference at the park, says the property had been part of the former Gettysburg Country Club and that the National Park Service tried unsuccessfully to acquire it for nearly 20 years.

I wish I Could win The Lottery & Buy up
alot of that land first, & open it to hunt .
Then sell it to them for double once it's
cleaned out :icon_thumleft:

And you won't be able to detect this property even though it has probably been radically landscaped and changed over the years. What a crock!.
