getting my 1st box of halves today

I ordered my first box of halves and it will be in today, wish me luck. I'm in so cal so I'm hoping some are left.

I visited most of my local banks and bought what they had in the drawers, which wasn't much $5 here $10 there but I did get a 1969 40%

Where in So CA are you? I am in north orange county. There is at least one more of us southerners on this board and I am pretty sure Mark has cleaned out this county.

If you are in my area and you metal detect our MD club is having a meeting tomorrow night.(7-11-07 @ 7:30 in Garden Grove) All guests are always welcome.

But remember we don't talk about CRHing because (I guarantee) 20-30 members will start the next day.

I went though about 1/2 the box and I didn't get a skunk........I'll post the results later.

No Pasadena is not too far away, but just far enough so we are not stepping on each others banks.

The closest I have gotten to your part of town is Covina. Not a lot of halves in that town. A few bank tellers told me someone already asked and got what they had.
