Getting Lucky With A Metal Detector

Lads, have any of you found that metal detecting is a great way to meet women?
I think it's almost better than a cute puppy...

I'm by far no expert on women, but I have found that some women are attracted to gold and precious gems. Finding these may prove beneficial to your love life if you don't scare the women off by detecting in black socks and shorts! HH omnicognic

Getting lucky with a Detector? I would think one of two things would happen: either it would be really hard to detect anything with all the bouncing going on OR it would be really hard to get any bouncing going on with the detector in the way!

Detecting in parks, draws kids. The mothers are there watching the kids. Be nice too the kids! Figure the rest out for yourself.? ?

I am always nice to kids, because I am just a big one myself.
I think metal detecting as an adult is just an obvious extention of the exploring that a lot of us here did when we where kids.

But thanks for the advise. I've been trying to figure "the rest out" for most of my adult life.....

jeesh as far a meeting women, when at the park i cant seem to get a free second in to speak to kids moms as the kids rattle off about a million questions a second at me....but the moms do seem to enjoy when i let them dig a hit....if i am in the play area i usually have a following of kids for as long as thier interest is piqued....still waiting for the mothers to form a following though...LOL I broke my foot the other day at work and was hobbleing around the play area the best i could with the detector and let the kids following me dig and keep all the clad i hit on...had about 7 kids diggin....didnt stay too long due to the foot but kids definatly love to dig up those coins....and the moms will chat with ya---just look at the hand when chattin with them and make sure they aint married b4 ya start flirtin
