I have coin rolled search before and have found a 1964 Roosevelt and a 1937 Mercury dime, and some wheat pennies as well. However I was never was able to find a war nickel, and wanted to get some nickels from the bank. I was wondering if you had $2K to $5K to convert to coins, would you get it all from one bank or break it up between branches. My thought is the more boxes you get from a bank, the more likely you will get something because some boxes are older than others. I know that a $100 dollar box of nickels is about 22.40 pounds and would add up quick. Another question I had was whether there was a difference between coins that come in a box or just wrapped rolls with no boxes. Thanks for your thoughts and comments.

Just find one nice sized branch where the people know you and bring them donuts or something and they will be very glad to get your coins for you!! :icon_thumright:
