Well, first day back out with the detector in a very long time (3-4 years) and never was able to do that much previously anyhow! Just getting used to the machine again, hit the beach (NJ), certainly no great finds - $.97 in clad, 3 bottle tops, 1 fishing lead, 1 broken radio antenna, 1 pc nicoret gum in foil, and loads of other foil! After about 2.5 hours, elbow said 'No More' on swinging the 10.5" coils, so called it quits.

But, on the bright side, it was a beautiful day and I was glad to find anything and can't wait to get out again.

Thank you to all posters of Tips, Tricks and Info, I have been trolling your posts for a couple of weeks now to get ready, thanks for all other posters for your inspirational finds!

Hopefully will have some good finds to post in near future!

I know the feeling about getting back into m d .
I use to m d back in 85 thru 93 then went out only every so often. Got back into it this year. Thru all these years I knew I'd get back into it cause I loved doing it then. I'm hooked again.

Exercise,Fresh air and finds- don't get better than that!! ;D
