checked ups.com today-my fisher 1280 x scheduled for arrival at my house today. On a serious note,my brother in law and his son,my nephew;almost died from carbon monoxide poisoning last Thursday. He put the car in the garage--- car didnt shut off all the way;the key was still in the ignition, believe it or not -cant believe my brother in law didnt use his head on this one-the garage is the kind built in under the house-shut the door;that car was running for 14 HOURS in that garage;house filled up with gas-he called my sister, she said to call 911-ambulances and fire trucks arrived, carted them to hospital--Look out folks!!Stupid mistakes can and will kill ya!!Thank the lord they will be all right!!

Congrats and good luck with the fisher! And really glad that your brother in law and nephew are alright!

I have a question though.....how can a car not shut off all the way? I'm not sure I understand..... but thank goodness they are still here!

wow thats crazy. im glad everyone is ok. ill tell ya, for what they cost carbon monoxide detectors are a great thing to have in your home. all you need is your heaters exhaust to become blocked or otherwise disfunctional and you would never know what happened. on a lighter note..........dont forget to review the new fisher for us!

my ace 250 isnt the only detector in the house. ;D
we have 2 nighthawks,1 upstairs in between the girls rooms, and 1 in the basement beside the heater.
these cm detector are so touchy cigar smoke can set them off.and then it sounds like a tornado siren in the hallway!

glad your in-laws are ok!
