I had a blast putting this video together. Great memories. My very best finds are the four shown right at the end - and I didn't even need a metal detector. Hope you enjoy - Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Great video and great finds as well Richard. Those were heartfelt thoughts at the first and I share them also. Our CW history (and especially Southern History) is rapidly being transferred to the back burner. As usual, I enjoyed the girls singing that song at the end.
Happy Thanksgiving my friend and remember I predicted that you would dig something good-it was CSA Block "A" button. You were due! HH, Q.

Great finds!! I really enjoyed watching the video.

Hey Quindy! Thanks, yes I'll never forget your prophecy and how it was fulfilled. You made another one this year, and I've still got some sites to get into - the best is yet to come for this year. BTW, all of my daughters who sing will be together for Thanksgiving, so if you want them to record something for you, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

And same to you Doug. Despite a troubled world, we all have much to be thankful for.

Great video. Being from Illinois i don't get a chance to hunt civil war relics, but i hunt old campmeeting grounds and old agricultural fairground sites. To pull 140-170 yr. old coins from these sites and knowing your the first person to touch them in all these yrs. does give you a connection to the past. Like you i also came along 150yrs. to late. Mike

Great Video... Thanks for sharing and congrats on some nice finds!!!

I loved it, not many people realize just how important some of these relics really are. most people laugh at my finds, but I know how they got there and the people that used them. hope I get to see many more of your video's.

That was a great video. Treasure comes in many forms and you have surrounded yourself with much. Enjoy the history. Thank you sir. Happy Thanksgiving and many blessings.

BTW who was the blue grass music from at the end? Very fitting.
