Tomorrow (Thursday, June 6) at McDonald's between 2 and 5 p.m., you can choose 1 of 4 international items in exchange for ANY current foreign coin/note. I figure since lots of us Americans are finding foreign coins on the beaches, this would be a good way to put it to use! It's not often you can get a burger for a Canadian penny!

If they happen to be smart enough to know that Canadian pennies are no longer made, you can tell them they are still legal tender.

Not sure how I feel about Tomato Mozzarella Chicken Sandwiches being “Canadian” [emoji848] I can assure you we wouldn’t consider that a “thing”.

One hunt in a Bronx Park produced more than 40 foreign coins from many different countries.
