It's a 2 penny coin based on a one hundred penny Mark . This was from the early years of what has become known as Hitlerzeit (The Time Of Hitler 1933-1945) . The Nazi party had been in power for a short time and was changing the money to reflect this . It's a neat find but has no monetary value . It only has collector value . By the end of the war the money had become deflated to unbelievable proportions . The old story is about 2 women who were walking down a street in Berlin after the war carrying a large wash basin between them containing a huge amount of German Marks . They saw people across the street selling food but were surrounded by a large crowd . They put the wash basin down so as to walk across the street and get closer easier . When they went back across the street they discovered that someone had dumped the money on the ground and stolen the wash tub .
