I found this clock in a thrift store today. I believe it is German and would guess maybe 40 years old or so. I’d really appreciate any information and any assessment of value. It works great. Thanks for looking and for any help!

What size battery is that? If it's a "B" cell it will be hard to find replacements in the US.

I'd go with 1970's based on what I see.

This company is still in business and making very nice watches. https://www.junghans.de/en.html I have a Junghans key wind clock in the garage. You should be able to ascertain a comparative value by examples maybe found on eBay? I'm thinking it's around 40 years old also.

The text on one of the parts (back, Photo #3) says "W794"
So.. Week-7, 1994. ?

Some electronic parts have similar numbering schemes, but in the end it's just a guess.

I’ve looked on eBay without success, but will try different search terms. I appreciate the ideas and info. :icon_thumleft:

The threadopener is right: Junghans is a German watch company and the clock is 70ies or eighties from the style. Worth, well Junghans was always mor like timex than rolex so the thirft store seems right if not something on the watch is very special that I missed.

But if you like it you have bought a rock solid (At this time Junghans meant "made in Germany") wallhanging clock for little money, so I do not see you made a bad deal!

Greetings
