German bronze snail sculpture.

Hi all, I am looking for help in identifying a small bronze snail sculpture I have come across when cleaning the attic, I have tried a google search but haven't got a clue really what I am looking for.

If anyone is able to provide help in identifying that would be great please see the pictures attached

Made by the Bergman foundry in Austria. Probably dates somewhere around 1900 - 1910. The eyes are bent. I'd be careful if trying to straighten them. Probably worth in the range of 400 to 500 dollars, but some Bergmans go much higher
