Recently on a hunt in what was suppose to be a civil war campsite I recovered this copper token. I can't find anything about it and was wondering if anyone out there knew what it was for or possibly the year. It appearers to be older with the color of the copper and it did have a little green patina on it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks for you're time..

Your token looks as if it's from one of the presidential commemorative or so-called "presidential data" series issued around 40-50 years ago. Some were given away at gas stations, others at banks, and I believe some were also used as prizes in boxes of breakfast cereal. Later, they were also sold in sets or albums in gift and hobby shops.
