It is a souvenir badge from 1880-1910.. they made all sorts of them. Clean it up, I believe it is that traitor to the South... Lincoln!

Hi ECH; The Script on the bottom says Admiral ----. I can't make out the Name. Also, the Bust has a mustache on it. Food for thought. PEACE:RONB

I'm guessing you found it in New York?

Dewey returned to NY in his Flagship in late September of 1899. He was a national hero and it was a big celebration.
