Geocaching...

I had to subsidise my metal detecting with geocaching since the ground has been so frozen here. It's not quite the same but at least I get out and the kids love it since it leads to a treasure for them to find and take a part of. The cache in trash out concept still applies. Anyone else geocache?

Yea, I got into the geocaching thing quite heavy for awhile, that is before I got the THing bug.
I liked it because it gets you out exploring new areas that you likely would never go. It also can expose you to possible new THing sites! Not to mention the challenge! Some of those caches can be very challenging!!

I did a geocache at colorado state park. Its pretty fun to do but you cant find it unless you have a GPS. I should know cause the second time we had forgotten ours and we never did find it again. lol
