Geo II LC @ 11

today was cold and windy! But I found a George II copper at
11 inches in the ground. I got a clear signal and dug and
dug and dug. Then at 11" mark - lay a nice LC! I was
really psyched when I looked at the hole it came out of...

Found this next LC at only 2 inches in soil. thought it was
horse head copper but I can't tell what it is.

finished the day with a musket ball, brass knob, and silver
dollar sized piece of lead 1/4" thick (for flint locks???).

not a bad day! HH!

Nice going O7. I love finding the King Georges. They just make my day. Are you going to try and clean that second one up, so you can see what it is. The only one with a horse head that I know of are the New Jersey Coppers and then it should have a shield on the back. I have found two of those, and the only part I can identify is the shield. Let me know what you find out. Great finds. I know what you mean about getting cold. I have to break through about any inch of frozen ground now. Won't be many more days of hunting this year for me...take care...Lance
