£ 259.00, they must be joking. I bought the GC 1010/3010 Hartman (LCD display, otherwise identical) for 70.00 Euro´s to loan out to people who want to try detecting. It suprised me that it held it´s own against an ACE down to 6 inches (After that the ACE left it behind). For the price I paid I´d say ok (Didn´t cost an arm and a leg if it breaks), but anything above that forget it. Better get an ACE 150/250, or an XP 100/200/250.

I use an XP GoldMaxx >Power, an Ace 250, the Hartmann to lend out, and a Viking 6DX2 for salt water beach and nail infested area´s (Untill I can afford a 10 x 5 coil for the naily area´s, then it´ll just be for salt water beaches).
