Garter Clip?

Probebly "suspender" rather than "garter"... but yes, it's a clip for sure, great find!

Having grownup in the 40's and 50's,trust me - Not a garter fastener! There was nothing more exciting than watching that long legged wife of mine puting on those nylons.
