Sorry about you getting your metal detector stolen, I hope that that will never happen to me (or any one else), good luck finding a way to retrieve it or getting a new one.
 

Keep an eye out for metal detectors for sale here by charter members and Dealers.
 

I am pretty sure I saw that sign on the corner near McDonalds the other day! It was hard not offering them a job, but as we grow older we start seeing trends, it is nearly like a superpower!

( if it really was stolen, sorry for your loss, panhandling is not acceptable to me though, unless you want to give me a new pickup, I think my seatbelt is bad? )

sell the gold you panned from the paydirt you bought. Should be plenty there to buy a detector.

Sorry about your loss. As for raising funds for your recreational to me spent, takes time and persistence...still s ax ing for my toys as well...

Home owners insurance would cover detectors stollen from cars, hotels or robbery on beach, some car insurance also cover items stolen if they are stolen from vehicles...

Reminds me the other day my brother in law, who is a contractor, was working in Syracuse N.Y. He had just bought lunch when he caught a red light at a large intersection known for panhandlers. One guy had a sign that said , " need money for food ". My brother in law rolled down the window and handed the guy his lunch he had just bought. As he was driving away he looked in the side view mirror just in time to see the guy throw away his lunch. Ya just never know.

I wasn't there, but I knew the end of that story. The more experience you get the more you know.

Probably just cash. Most panhandlers have nice cars ad homes and panhandle for a living because it's easy, the pay if good and there are no taxes.

I clicked on the thread expecting to read how, where, type of thing. serial number,Identifying marks, so people could watch out for it.

one world order is coming to protect you with a rfid chip imbedded in you calibrated to the thing you buy will have a rfid chip and it will activate the perpetrator by gps just for your convenience no home work from a cop needed....hit Google and look...

best way to protect your arctic cat is to put a polaris cover on it like wise keep your detector in a bounty hunter case...
