FWIW - the Padded travel/storage bag measures 46". So, if you plan on packing up your MD - measure your extended MD and understand that you may have to reduce the overall length.

Navy is right. The AT Pro lower rod must be pulled in all the way in order for it to fit. My AT Pro fits like a dream inside it along with all my other accessories. The only issue I had with it was overall waterproofness, but a quick can of tent sealant'll fix that right up.
