They have a fantastic new design for a light headset, that not only is very ergonomic, but also has a nice clear, deep sound. I ordered a pair a couple of weeks ago, and tonite I tried them on, tested them on my metal detectors and was quite impressed. Of course they are adjustable, so I let my daughter try them on and she thought that they were quite comfortable. They come with the standard 1/4" size stereo jack, and don't require an adapter to make them fit. The ear cuffs can rotate, so that they can be packed up in a suitcase, not take up as much room and not break the cuffs like some cheaper models. The ClearSound Headphones have a thicker, stronger wire from the cuffs to the 1/4" JACK, and a section is formed into a curly cord to prevent sudden snags from ripping out the wires.
The headsets also come with an in-line volume control, to set the audio to your desired listening level.
Now the ClearSound Headphones are stereo, which means that if you run them through a mono setup metal detector, you will only get audio on one side. The Scorpion is one such metal detector. I am looking forward to a new season of hunting, using these headphones for land hunting.
