Very exciting news if the price doesn't increase. Garrett detectors speak for themselves.

This is a very early prerelease video.. I honestly have no idea on the released date.. mfg is 149... which is midrange and waterproof.. LIking that a lot..

Can't wait for that to come out! As long as its reasonably priced. Hopefully it will be a little tougher made than my previous 2 that I've had trouble with, they've been good but after awhile, well you know how they get.

I've experienced false targets when applying pressure. Hopefully this inconvenience will be addressed.
Peace ✌

Guess I'm going to have to send my propointer back after only using for 6 months. False signals like crazy.

Me too.
I only use Garrett pinpointers, and have exclusively for 5yrs+.
I welcome an updated version.
Peace ✌

It is good to see that with all the new pinpointers coming out that the big boys are feeling the heat and are trying to improve their products. Competition is good.

I wonder when its coming out.

Frankly, for 149 clams you can get a Vibra-Probe 580, which is PI, tip-detect only, and good for 100' depth. Whats not to like about it? Not as many of those sold as the Garrett has, but I have never heard of any issues with them either.

I really like mine, Higgy. It is great in the water and the tip only leaves no doubt as to where in the hole the target is. It doesn't have quite the depth that the Garrett does, but if you pinpoint well with the big machine, there are no problems.

I am looking forward to purchasing the new pin pointer from Garrett; they also have excellent customer support if something should go wrong.

Hope it is not junk like the first one. If it gets good reviews after being released I might order one.
