Hello ive been looking at buying the garrett at pro for a while then i thought of a whites m6...Now im stuck?!? I no that the garrett is water proof and comes with a dd coil but the whites m6 seems like a good detector? It has lots of option coils and a option for a built in pinpointer!(awsome!)
But 700$ quite abite! If i were to get the whites m6 what would be the 2nd best coil to work with the sun ray dx-1 probe option?
or the garrett at gold because we might move to chattanooga tn soon?

Younghunt I use the M-6 with a DD 6x10,I really like this machine,REAL SIMPLE,and EFFECTIVE!!!!!!! God Bless HH Chris

would the m6 work good in semi hard/soft soil? does it do good with relic, coin, jewlery and gold

All soils and conditions, just have to learn what it's telling you,as with ANY MD.Patience/Persistance! God bless HH Chris

Your second best (maybe 1st choice) coil would be the 5.3 or the 4x6 shooter. I like the 5.3 because I can sweep a target in any direction without moving. With a dd coil you have to walk around your target. I find that the 5.3 is about as deep as the 950 coil. It just doesn't cover the ground as good. So for larger areas I put the 950 on. Also the M6 is very sensitive to small targets. It will find gold. The ATpro and M6 run at almost the exact frequency. The way to find small gold is to run zero disc, high gain and a small coil. The Atpro's are waterproof - well except for mine (leaker)(work well "when" they are working)
But the M6 won't let you down in the field and is TANK strong.
