Garrett Ace 250 or Minelab X-Terra 30?

Debating between these two detectors. Is the X-Terra worth the extra money, does it out-perform the Ace? Any past experiences/info would be greatly appreciated. I will mostly be hunting caches and relics in Southern Illinois and Mid to South Central Missouri.
