My cousin and I found 140 anthill garnets yesterday along with what I believe is chromium diopside.

nice color! what are you going to do with them? I saw a necklace that was a locket only the top was glass & inside were rubies. It was gorgeous, but the price was $5,000!

Probably save a few for personal use and perhaps get faceted. Sell most of them. First I need to check to see if any of them might be rubies. There's a GemFaire in town this weekend so that should help. I hear that rubies are worth more than diamonds. Are they girl magnets?

I wouldn't know if they're chick magnets or not I've never had reason to try it. But show me an uncut gem & I melt.
