Thats really neat! I have one of those same lucky tokens! Mine say's something on it like Donna loves Trully? dated around 1965 I think, it came from a park in Springfield Mo. I will post a pic of it tomarrow. Tsgman

nice tokens .... they bring back a lotta memories we used to get those at the fourth of july fair at greenup ky. in the 40s and 50s

Those look like the old tokens that you could buy from a machine that stamped them out at an amusement park. I remember them as a kid being made out of aluminum or brass. If I remember correctly the machine had a dial that you turned to select a letter then pulled a lever to stamp it. Then you selected another letter - and so on. It usually cost about $.25 to make one.

Just a thought.
 

These backyard digs are in some ways better than those from Civil War sites. It's your home and it's history.
