In the last few weeks I found some fun finds, some things I already sold and didn't take pictures of, but I will show you a few of my better finds from the last few weeks
Late in the day about 3 weeks ago I went to one of those "World's Largest Garage Sales" at my coliseum, it was a hour before close and I visited two dealers tables (since those yard sales are mostly dealers in my town), one dealer had a ton of beautiful vintage jewelry all priced expensively and priced extra expensively for gold, but she had a few thimbles priced at $5 a piece, one which looked like gold, felt like gold, and when I looked inside there was a very clear 14k stamp at the top, bought it and sold it for scrap the next day, $5 turned into $100. Another dealer table had a bunch of silver, priced higher than scrap, but I noticed it looked really well made, I only had a bit of money left so I bought a vintage Georg Jensen and two vintage David Anderson pieces for $30( for all 3).

At some other yard sales I picked up a vintage 9k-10k unmarked moonstone brooch with a c-clasp for $1, a 14k peridot pendant with seed pearls for $0.50, a bunch of silver for about $1 a piece, a 10k Turkey white gold bracelet for $0.25, and some vintage jewelry for $15 (I would take pictures but it is just a bunch of unmarked rhinestone stuff that I sell to a local antique dealer). I also found a Sherman brooch for $1 (which I sold), a Birks Sterling Candy Dish? weighs about 45 grams, and two beer steins, one with a surprise inside. I was pretty excited about the beer steins until I noticed that they were both signed Ramsey, the name of the air force corporal. Do monogrammed steins sell??

I had some other stuff, but things get sold pretty fast in this household, sometimes I don't research enough (I found one of those native sterling bead necklaces and sold it for scrap oops).
