Got this late in the day on Memorial Weekend 2012. Guy wanted $10.00 for it. It was tied closed with twine and no one had asked to cut the twine to look at it.. until me.
The guy was a Ford retiree(like me) and his kids had bought it for him for his 50th B'day. He had the real car, same color in his barn and his kids got it for him to play with. He never got around to even taking it out of the box. This guy is now into his mid 70's. I told him if he had removed the twine at the start of the sale, he would have sold it in the first few minutes. I bought it.
Put it on eBay for $19.99 and on the very first day I had 5 guys asking if I would put it as a Buy It Now. So, I knew I had something good. I said no to the BIN's as I like to let the auction go full course. Sometimes it does backfire on you though. But that's another story.
The RC car sold for $326.00 and I was quite happy to say the least.
