I found this piece over the weekend at a home site in central indiana. Home was built in 1915 and I have dug 30+ wheaties, oldest 1918. Mercury dimesx 2, standing liberty quarter x 1. Several ox hide buttons, belt buckles etc.. I found this token about 6 in deep in an area that I previously found a falsa pecunia dime so I am leaning towards game piece but I have no clue. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

It could well be a trade token, good for 5¢ at a place that wanted to remain anonymous. Or, it could be a tally or counter where the numbers 5 and 11 had significance to the users. Figuring out just what this one was for will be close to impossible. It was produced by one of the token manufacturers of the day as the beading around the edge is common to numerous tokens.
