Hello everyone. Was able to hunt some east central Georgia land with creeks and slight rocky ravines recently. There have been pottery and points found before there. I personally have a difficult time on the quartz seeing the noticeable flaking and work i see on the FL material im used to. Just wondering if you guys can tell of these have been worked by man in any way. Thanks for looking and happy hunting everyone

It breaks so unevenly it makes it hard to tell for sure, but a big “probably!”.

I’m in Georgia
That’s a low grade quartz and will fracture in the winter if exposed to the cold. If they had nothing else to use they would use it. Look for better quality quartz I don’t believe those have been worked. What county are you in? I’m in Bartow

Thanks for feedback and insight guys. Appreciate the replies. I found those in Oconee County GA
