I've picked up a few of these sterling handle wedding cake knives up for cheap from time to time. This one I purchased at a little church run thift store for a dollar yesterday. Just incase you ever run across one and wonder how much sterling silver might be recovered. This is what this one had. 12 grams of 92.5% silver. I might get 7 or 8 bucks out of it at my local PM dealer. Was it worth my effort to remove it off the blade this morning? Maybe as it didn't really take long to strip it. Been a different story though, had I slipped with that chisel and then found I needed stitches
