Hello fellow hunters. Found the site while researching a recent find.
I'm lucky to live in Thunder Bay Ontario which is rich in fur trade history. I've been fortunate enough to have found many knives some with Cross L, Tools, buttons, jewelry , axe and hatchet heads.
Too many things to list. I find it difficult to find sources when researching. Even our local university has limited resources.
My most rescent find is a HB flat button that has writing on the back. Appears to be gilded.
It was the only one of the 5 I found In a 2 ft circle that had markings. I also found a copper spear head a few ft away ( a little deeper) but I know nothing about them.
My brother and friend have both found flintlock side lock assemblies. Serpent side lock bling and butt plate. I've just found a frisem pan and a few ram rod ferrules. Still searching.
Anyways a long introduction.
Thank you

Thank you for the welcome. I'll be glad to post some photos once I've figured out how. Not good with this stuff. :)

When you open the text box to type, at the top of text box are small icons, the tiny picture to right of paperclip icon, it will open new box and it allows you to search on your computer for picture you want to use.

It is your computer that actually does the search so your safe, we are not in your computer.

Welcome !
