Fun in the Sun at VA Beach

Was in Norfolk for business on Thursday so I packed my detector in my carry on and went to VA beach in the evening. Was there for just under 2 hours but managed to score a ring. Not sure what type of metal it is, anyone know? VDI was 56 on the Manticore. Too bad the price of parking was highway robbery.

Looks like stainless or tungsten carbide. It should say inside the band.

Ah, you know I looked for markings when I was at the beach but didn't see any - just checked now and you are correct sir, tungsten carbide. Thanks!

I didn't have a lot of time so I didn't look around for the best deal. Plus I was on the road closest to the beach. Several I passed wanted $20 and the place i parked was $15. It was for all day. The following day I had told someone I was working with what I paid and I was told if you go further up before the boardwalk begins you can find it free. Good luck to you when you go!
