Got my new E-trac and got a chance to get out and try it out.

First site we went to was trashy. Dug lot's of aluminum a few iron nails, some copper water supply line and my FIRST Wheat with the E-trac. On the way out found another copper penny 1961 and the clock.

Next place we went to Baldingboy and I had hunted already and hadn't found much there. Found the Hotwheel car then part of the Daisy Cap gun, it has a 45 on the bottom of the handle. Then I got a really good signal and dug up the Copper Earring with Turquoise.

Went across the road to a place that Baldingboy and I have hammered hard. And so have other people before us. I went over an area that he and I have hunted a lot with our Explorers for an hour.

At the end of the hunt I had part of a key, a lead fishing weight with a 5 on it. A makeup tin lid, I have found one just like it before a few years back but cannot remember the particulars. Then I got a decent signal and pulled another wheat. Right next to the wheat I found the 54 Rosie. Just a few feet away from that I scored the Rabies tag. Then the target I was REALLY looking for. I got a strange signal, kicked the machine into TTF and found a huge square nail and below that the 1902 Indian Head!!!!! I had an awesome first night out with the E-trac and it proved to me that if I give it time, this machine will do really good things for me.

I did dig a ton of trash, can slaw, and other foil. I even managed to find a nickel.

Just before it was time to go walking across the ground swinging I saw a dollar bill. I picked it up and tossed it in my pouch. It wasn't until I got back to the car to show BB my finds that I realized I had found a $5 Bill!!!!!!!!!!

This was an awesome first outing with the E-trac........ Thanks for looking.

I like that "EAR RING"...and it maybe a Native American Indian piece. :read2:

That was a lot of targets to dig in a three hour period of time.

The earring is most likely from Arizona as the owner of the property said her family member brings here jewelry from there from time to time. I'm going to take it to her and see if she lost it.......

I love the machine. Just have to get it dialed in so I know what it's trying to tell me BB.

Sorry that I kicked your butt. But I didn't find ANYTHING half as cool as your half-dime find from a few weeks ago............ so when exactly are you ordering your E-trac? :dontknow: :icon_scratch: :laughing9: :laughing9: :laughing9:

The wife took the $5 as payment on the money I have to put back in the bank WSD :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

suppose you will not bother coming to our hunt now that your an expert. :dontknow:
Congrats on the great finds and especially how you found the Indian. WTG!!

Good finds. Great videos by baldingboy! :icon_profileright:

I've been wondering what the square piece of metal is in picture three- the one with the gears on it -the square piece with almost a Y in it, -if you removed the gears. I found that same metal (brass or copper maybe -since it was green?) in my step dads yard two months ago, and have seen it in two or three other pics on TNet (it must have been a popular clock!)- now seeing it with the gears attached is cool!

You sure found alot of stuff on your first hunt with your Etrac It's definitely working :hello2: MaineRelic

Great Post!
Jewelery, A little silver, a little copper, & a Lot of cool bits.
The Etrac will keep getting you the goods,
In clean areas I usually run mine at full sensitivity and it goes really deep.
That's the first 'E' Button I've seen ;D

Way to go, ME! :icon_pirat: That was a super hunt! :icon_thumright:

Nana :hello:
