Fun Day At The Town Dump !

I brought some trash to our dump today , there was a band playing , a local Maine group called '' The Horseshoe Crabs '' Old Dudes playing Rock / Country stuff - pretty good music !
I checked the free table and I got 2 lawn dart games ( i know . trying to sell them is like trying to sell an assault weapon )....I see that empty boxes go good on ebay .

I also got a Petzl rock climbing helmet - new in the box !

I used to go to our transfer station with a friend of mine and his dad when I was a kid, his dad would would go on the scales with his trash but we would already be scavenging all over for things to bring home. Sometimes we would confuse the scale operators because the truck would be heavier coming back from dumping then it was when it went through the first time from the weight of us jumping in the bed to catch a ride back with our newfound treasures. Saved him some dumping fees at least!

Love the dump! We have a take it-leave it shed at our transfer station. We call it the gift shop!! We have found everything from antique furniture to gold & silver and everything in between there!

Lawn Jarts cannot be sold on ebay or even craigslist - They have been illegal since 1988. I was suspended in the early 2000's for ignoring eBay's Jart policy! But they are still fun to have around, I have numerous sets

And in my description , I would say-'' empty box per ebay policy'' - but the last picture of the box would show the box with the darts in the background , and I would say - " I welcome any questions "

There are plenty of jart boxes that have sold recently. I looked at a few and didn't see any photos of actual jarts. That would probably get it pulled. I wonder how many included actual Jarts though?

The empty boxes go for $20-40. Think what you could get with the actual lethal weapons.
Maybe you could say "I have contents too, I welcome any questions"

I put the jarts box on ebay . The last 2 pics are teasers . Now I guess I have to watch out for spies asking if I will include the darts .

I sell them as often as I find them. Just find a classified site or hobby forum. $50 - $80. But I have never sold to any collector, only people who want to play with them, so I question if people are really buying "empty boxes" on eBay or are expecting more.

If I had extra money, I'd buy both set off you. They are very hard to come by. We play them when we are just hanging out and having a few drinks. I can't believe you get them for free.
