full bottle ID please

Hi, Today I found a full bottle buried, clear liquid (moonshine?)...I can't post photo now, but will later under today's finds. I understand the inscription "Federal Law Forbids Sale or Re-use of this Bottle" was from 1935 until 1964. Any idea of the bottle date based on following on bottom of bottle?
Line 1: "N" in a square box, centered
Line 2: 0-1 centered
Line 3: 72 67 centered
Line 4: 8374N centered
Thank you.
(Has a silverish screw cap)
I know it can't be 1972 or 67 because that's too late. Thoughts?

You are not going to get much from the markings on the bottom. It only tells you the glass manufacturer. The bottle shape and seams will tell us more.

:laughing7: And you know this how? :laughing7:

I used to do shutdown work when I was younger and when we were down south there would be this guy that carried a cooler around selling little bottles of flavored moonshine. Yes, I bought one to try later... You didn't dare light a cigarette around me.

LOL, as a fellow Southerner, I'll add my Moonshine story. The first time I ever drank 'shine was at a party upteen years ago. I had been munching on salty chips/nuts and was really thristy. The hostess said the punch was strong Apple Cider, and I had swallowed probably 3 or 4 swallows before stopping, then it was WOW-SAH! It burned both trips. lol Breezie

Like you said its a screw top Federal Law bottle from 1935-64 and the seams will show that it was made in an automatic bottling machine. The N in a square may be the Obear-Nester Glass Company in St Louie that made the bottle.. http://www.myinsulators.com/glass-factories/bottlemarks3.html I dont recognize the distiller but it has that distinct impression in the glass that someone may recognize. You should move the picture here.

The question I have is is the cap seal broken? Could it simply be refilled with water or did you smell it?

I moved it for you.

I wouldnt take a swig of that if someone paid me. If it is shine its very poor shine judging by the color.
Looks more like dirty water.

I was thinking that myself but its kinda full. I find bottles in the woods all the time full of pee left by hunters that dont want deer to smell human urine. But they are usually modern plastic bottles or its some very old pee and water mixed..

Is the cap seal broken?
