I found this piece at an estate sale for a few bucks. Any ideas? Commemorative piece, belt buckle?

It was simply recorded as "bronze medal" on my receipt. First two pictures show the true color.

Thanks all!

It's not clear from your question if you already know it's a fantasy reproduction of the "Franklin" or "Fugio" cent... the first official circulation coin of United States. But it's massively oversized at 3 inches versus the original at just over an inch. There are dozens of correctly-sized modern reproductions which are just souvenir commemorative items. I haven't seen one that big but, at that size, it might be heavy enough for a souvenir paperweight (?) or it could just be a piece of memorabilia.

Yes, am indeed aware...just thrown off by its size enough to wonder if it's something specific like a paperweight or just merely eye candy. It's 6oz.
