FT 16000

I Have just been given a minelab FT 16000 in a1 condition i was just woundering if anyone has used one and if they are a good detector.What depth can i expect to get out of it finding small objects [Nuggets 1g and over or small coins] I no it is a older detector but they use to find a lot of gold with them a few years back so there is no reason why the detector can't find gold now.

I had one, they're great detectors. I gave mine to my brother 'cause he's down in CA. gold country, we don't have much here.
