Otherwise, how will you know if the other brand detector works better than this one.

Why would you want to settle for second best. If you learn the v3i you will never be looking for another DT again!! It took me a month and now i find everything the other Detectors cant 12''+ deep!!
I hunt with guys that have minelab,fisher,Garrett and other brands
thanks whites for making the king of detectors!
