I bought this from a member about a year ago and only used it a few times.
The seller said it was professionally modified with the ten turn pot and switch underneath.
Also a switch on the face in upper right hand corner.
I was told the M for manual and the A for auto ground balance.
I don't have the hand written instructions that he gave me and I don't remember the correct way to balance but there are a few ways with this one and one is very deep but I don't remember how I did it.
I don't even know what it is worth but anyway you balance it - the detector works great.
make a decent offer and it's gone. the pics are bad and it looks a lot better than what you see.
I will change pics tomorrow
