Howdy Folks,
I lost my cell phone and the dogs didn’t have any food
and my prescriptions needed refilling and so on and so
fourth.
I wanted to go metal detecting but all these details were
holding me back.
Out of frustration I finally resorted to back tracking to
look for my phone.
So I went to the park I hunted yesterday.
I did not find my cell phone, so I decided as long as I was
there, I might as well hunt a couple of the little gravel
filled enclosures they have all over the place. Each one will
have a swing, or a slide or marry-go-round. But only one play
thing per enclosure.
Me and MisSpeedy were on our second one after about 15
or 20 minutes and then we found our 15th gold ring the year
after digging only 25 targets.
It was not marked. Had to wait til I got home to find out if
it was really gold or not. A cop stopped me for speeding. But
my luck had changed and he let me go.
Ok, it’s tiny, and it only weighs 0.9 of a gram,
But it has a real diamond and it’s real gold. So I’ll take it.
I still get a kick out of it, even if it is small. It’s still a gold
ring.
Here’s my 25 targets with a token and praying hands.
Here’s a close up with a praying hands and ring.
After I got home I heard a low battery signal coming
from my cell phone. It was in my car all that time.
What a dummy.
Well, I’m glad my luck changed. The cell phone cost more
than the ring is worth.
So, all and all, it turned out to be a rewarding and fun
day.
