Had a few hours today in the cold. Took the hammer and chisel along to dig. My goal was to get one frozen silver. I hit one park along the Hudson River, but I think it's a newer park, and just found a quarter, three dimes and four memorial pennies and 5oz and 2oz fishing weights. Went to the old swimming hole hoping to score silver, but it was mostly snow covered. Did manage to detect part of it, but we've been over the whole darn thing too many times. Only find there which sounded just like a good coin (bummer) was a clasp for a bathing suit with "Beach Male" written on it. Go figure, I can't even find a "Beach Female" clasp. (Had an older couple in their car pull over and talk to me about detecting. They detect in the area.)
