Was on the beach nice and early this am at low tide. Was about 17 and the wind was blowing and was glad I had my face mask & hat on.

Managed to find 1 Wheatie, 2 Mem's, the dreaded 65 Quarter and more fishing weights.

Also found a frozen jellyfish.

Felt good to get out but was glad to be back in the car at noon as temps had warmed up to 31.

HH!

Boy, you're HARD CORE! I guess we're spoiled on the West (Wet) Coast. I figure its bad when we have to go out in the pouring rain; the winds are blowing and if the ground is even a bit frozen (I'm talking an inch)..., well, its time to go home. Great finds given the conditions you have right now!

Props to you for heading out in the cold! (Not that it's as cold as where I am, but I get where you're coming from.) Even a few days above freezing in MN aren't going to thaw out the two feet of frozen soil... And for some reason, I just found that jelly fish hilarious! :laughing7:

Thanks Guys! I don't mind the cold as long as I'm dressed for it. Must be my Viking Blood. I HATE the heat, humidity, mosquitoes and bees.

I was doing a lot better than that jellyfishsicle.

Nice finds, I tried a frozen beach hunt recently, I left some stuff in the ground, the ground was frozen like a rock, lol. I did manage to find a few thawed areas that were high on the beach away from the water and in the sun area.

Congrats on getting out and MD'ing and getting goodies!

Lol you certainly were doing better than the jellyfish!

Makes me cold just looking at a snow covered beach. First few inches on the beaches here are usually frozen, unless your in the water, and I'm not going there now.
